Topless Women On A Tractor

Cantique de Noel - Oh Holy Night (Audio & Video)

addition to "Silent Night, Holy Night" is hardly a Christmas song that has the world seen such a victory like in 1847 composed " Cantique de Noël " by Adolphe Adam (1803 - 1856).

There are some wonderful recordings - from Enrico Caruso (1916, in French) about Jussi Björling and Sissel Kyrkjebjø ("O Helga Natt" in Swedish) to LeAnn Rimes and Mariah Carey ("Oh Holy Night" in English). And Jonas ranked merchant to
the Advent concert in the Frauenkirche in Dresden (2008) next Juan Diego Flórez (Christmas 2006 in Vienna) in the phalanx of Cantique tenors one ...

Midnight, Christians is the solemn hour,
Where the Man-God descended to us
To erase the stain of original sin
And end the wrath of His Father. The whole world trembles
hope
In this night gives him a savior.

People kneeling, wait thy salvation.
Christmas, here is the Redeemer!

From our faith that the light burning
We guide all the cradle of the Child,
As once a shining star
Y led the Chiefs of the East.
King of kings born in a humble manger: Powerful
day, proud of your height,

after your pride, that's where God preaches.
Bend your brows before the Redeemer!

The Redeemer has overcome every obstacle:
The land is free, and heaven is open.
He sees a brother where there was a slave
Love unites those bound in chains of iron.
Who will tell Him of our gratitude, we
For all that He is born, suffers and dies.

People stand up! Sing your issue,
Christmas, sing of the Redeemer!

LeAnn Rimes: O Holy Night

Jussi Björling: O Helga Natt (1955)

Sissel Kyrkjebjø: O Helga Natt (1995)

Jonas Kaufmann (Dresden, 2008, teilw. auf Deutsch)

Juan Diego Flore z (2006 in Vienna)

And for everyone who sent this song but then again would rather hear from a woman:
Mariah Carey with "Oh Holy Night":

Okay okay, one I still have: Mario Lanza with "Oh Holy Night" wish

All those who have persevered this far, I am a peaceful and above all peaceful Christmas - and of course all those to whom it sometimes is in my blog has become boring or one-sided. Let me keep you nice and give presents loyalty: I'm just a click away from you ...
